What Happens if I’ve Exceeded the Terms of my Enact® Free Subscription?

If you exceed the usage criteria of your Enact Free subscription, you’ll be sent an email from InfinityQS asking you to submit payment information for the Premium subscription.

Why Did This Happen?

This could be due to any of the following conditions:

• Exceeding the allowed number of licenses – The Free subscription is limited to two (2) assigned licenses.

• Usage of Enact Automated Data Collection (ADC) service – This is a paid option that is only available with Premium subscriptions.

• Exceeding the allotted monthly data points – The Free subscription allows 50,000 data points to be collected in a given month. Entering more data points requires upgrading to the Premium subscription.

What Do I Do Now?

Option 1: Upgrade

If you want to continue with the upgrade to our Premium subscription, click the button in your email receipt to add your payment details:

Option 2: Revert

If instead you want to revert back to the Free subscription, you’ll need to resolve the condition(s) that triggered the notification. This could include:

• Reducing your license count back to two (2)

  • Open the license management page (Access Menu > Security > Licenses)
    
    
    

  • Select the license you wish to remove by clicking the ellipsis button and selecting “Remove.”
    
    
    

  • Note that you can conserve licenses by using a workstation license rather than a user license. Workstation licenses allow multiple users to access Enact via a shared workstation. In this situation, none of the users accessing Enact would need a dedicated user license.

• Discontinuing usage of the ADC service. This may simply mean disabling any providers running in the Data Collection Service (DCS).

• Reducing the data points collected the following month – Typically, exceeding your allotment is only possible when using ADC
