Defining & Licensing a Workstation

Each workstation or device is assigned to a workstation record, which defines its identity within Enact:

• Workstation name – For internal identification and tracking

• Department – For internal bookkeeping and license tracking

• Workstation license – Allows it to be shared between multiple Enact users who won’t require their own dedicated user license

• Access level – Defines the overall data visibility for the workstation. It’s typically recommended to set this at a high level since each Enact user’s access level will restrict their visibility.
